I had a Losi XXX/NT Nitro kit. If your new, definitely get a prebuilt kit as they are usually the best value. Off-roads are fun on road but on-roads can really rip on-road. Something else to think about.

It's more like either onroad or offroad. I don't think they have a hybrid yet...

For onroad, you might want to look at the NTC3 by Team Associated. Very nice car for beginners, but have tons of hop ups when you get more advanced and it's only around $300.

Check out www.rcracing.com for more info or if you wanna pick up a used one for starter.

If you wanna go with electric, then let me know because I have a few of those I can let go for cheap.

"On road" means "perfect conditions with no rocks, etc". Otherwise they're flipping all the time.

I faced the same thing and ended up buying a NitroMT Racer, which I got to build. It's a "stadium truck" but if you throw some fatty slicks on it, stiff springs and shocks you can get a decent handling on-road car. HPI stuff is easy to fix and build, but it isn't the best stuff and you quickly want more.

I ended up buying a T-maxx because off-road is just so much more fun for me. And off-road CAN be on-road, but NOT the other way around. Then I sold everything when I realized that nitro is a huge messy pain in the *** when you live in an apartment and have to pack all your shiz into the car and go somewhere.

Fun hobby, but expensive!

HPI has a nitro rally setup, it's a tad bit higher than the on road cars, and will go great w/ the impreza body they offer

yea, I have a T-MAXX...that is one of the best ones I have seen....if you want a truck that will pretty much go anywhere. Its really tough, and parts are pretty cheap if you break something, plus there are TONS of aftermarket parts for it.....otherwise I just picked up one of these myself back in Nov.....I have brought it out to a few meets to show it off...I painted it exactly like my REAL car.

Miguel,

I am selling this one for $125 (Team Asssociated RC10GT RTR). It's RWD. Used about 5 times. More for dirt than pavement (nothing strret tires couldn't fix).

I have the HPI Super Nitro Rally car. Its a WRX body.

I LOVE THS CAR. Someone mentioned on-road cars tearing up the pavement and that is what this thing does. I have an O.S. engine for it and when I gun the throttle it will do 4 wheel burn outs. I don't recommend it for off-road because it gets REALLY dirty really fast. That is how I broke my first engine.

I would deffinetely recommend this kit if your willing to spend about $700 to get it running.

If you want to be able to go both on and off road, I would suggest the RC10 truck. I wish I had gotten this kit instead.
