hehe, there's always McDonalds just to keep you by. Everyone may bag on you, but it's usually those who don't have a job that make fun of those with ****ty jobs.

I pretty much echo the other people on this thread, I am quitting my current job, last day is Friday, but I've had the new one lined up for three weeks now. Don't be affriad to jump into a work place just for a few weeks till you get yourself a new job. These people don't give a **** about you, so don't give a **** about them when you get hired and quit after 4 weeks.

bite the bullet, go to school and get a real career.
ask your parents for help with the car(s), and make the commitment to get a real job.

Good luck finding a job. Like everyone has said big mistake quiting before you have something lined up. Not everyone like the job they are in but they know they have bills to pay But i think this will be a lesson learned for you. It can be hard enough to find a job these days than to quit one you already have.

If you have experience with computer networking, I may be able to get you a good paying internship (~25/hour) if you are still enrolled (meaning on hold perhaps) in an educational institution - can be a JC even I think. PM me a resume.

But to quote dorifto - yeah dude I remember in high school some peeps I know didn't want to go to college, they were stoked to be making $35-40k a year. 6 years later they are still making the same, and a lot of us out of college who granted, tried hard to get into careers that pay well and good companies, are all pulling close to or above 6 figures. Those people who regreted it, some gave up but some realized how much they gotta go to school and after working a few deadend jobs decided to go back to start their life.

It's never too late to start And **** man, plumbers, electricians, lot of contractors can pull hella good money! I know a couple painter friends who just kept getting bigger and bigger gigs until they just retired on a big job. Don't need school to get by, just skillz. And you get skills by being willing to sacrifice and start from the bottom up as an apprentice, delaying gratification (such as cars)

I wish you luck, but I just feel like I have to reiterate what a few others have said: rule one of quitting your job: if you are living paycheck to paycheck, better freaking make sure you got another gig lined up BEFORE you quit
