Question Quick Tire Question for Stock 2006 WRX Rims

I am looking to get some new rubber, will tires as wide as 225s work on my stock 2006 WRX Rims?

I am riding on ProDrive springs, KYB Struts with no fender mods. I mainly drive street, auto X and occasional Tahoe trips.

What is the widest tire I can go for without any major rubbing?

Many thanks in advance!

What's the height on your springs?
I'm sitting on Cobb sport springs right now 1.5" R and 2.0" F. I have 06 stockers on my 05 wrx and I just recently picked up a set of tires 225/45/17. No rubbing.
you should be fine but no wider than 225..anything higher would be a little too wide for the rim anyway..

Like the other two have said, 225 is fine.

To add... TireRack says widest tire the 17x7 stock WRX rim is recommended is 225. Works fine.
