So me and my girlfriend are thinking of places to eat in San Francisco, Daly City, or the peninsula area (Millbrae, etc.).

We just got on Winter Break from San Jose State. As some of you SJSU or DT SJ people know, there is a good amount of quick eats places in downtown.

Some examples are, Peanuts (small diner thing), La Vics (burrito/Mexican), etc.

Any suggestions for places in SF or Daly City/Peninsula?

If you are in SF during the day, hit up Yank Sing for some Dim Sum (spelling??). Best in SF!

Hotei on 9th ave. has some good ramen. Simple and a good quick eat.

I'm looking for Asian foods (Ramen, quick Chinese, Korean), American food (breakfast, burgers, etc.).

 

Burgermeister in Westlake mall. Not too far from your house. Has pretty good burgers.

 

There is this place near Pacifica/Daly City area that's open 24/7. I used to go there in the wee hours to get some tonsilog (Tocino Garlic Rice and Egg). It's called Ling Nam.

I may have to make a trip for old times sake!

wow, haven't been there in many, many moons! now i hella wanna go.

 

I like Yank Sing and all but I think they are WAY over priced. Its decent, but I donno about the best; My Opinion Speaking Here . I've had a lot better for cheaper, mostly within Oakland. However for a nice date situation, you really can't go wrong. Its a nice location, clean place, and the food is good. Just be ready to fork out some bills.

BTW Arnaud, which location did you eat at? I've only tried the one on Mission (near embarcadero).
