Plus, if you decide to roll your own later, and cut a different shape, make it higher, narrower, wider, etc, you've got a template and you've already got the hardware in place to just screw them in. Not bad for $45. Order an offset screwdriver, it makes the job a lot easier and you don't have to yank the wheels or jack up the car.
Even with offset screwdriver, I'm not sure I could get into the back without taking the wheels off. 18x8 235/40/18 here on Swifts.

Couple Saturdays ago I had 5 people in my car and we were in SF. EVERY frickin' turn I was scraping. But for $45, I didn't really care. Just kinda ghey with people looking at me when they heard me going by.

ha DRÄLLA, a true swedish mudflap...

i made mine from a $40 roll of super tough rubber from OSH. then got clips at Kragen. (it was night time and the guy at the counter only charged me for a quarter square foot...like $3...$40 is a lot for a roll of rubber though.)

sucks though, i was reversing over a rough dirt area and the front got sucked under my tire and the clips didnt break away since they were so strong and it mangled my front quarter next to my pass.door

it actually happened twice but the first one i was drunk reversing from my door ding free spot (i park ON curbs often) and it mangled it.

I've got an STi, not a wagon, so it might be different, but I did it on the ground with 245/40/18's on 18x8.5's. Snug, but even my fat fingers pulled it off. It's the diameter that kills you, not the width.
