questions about flying out form bay area to vegas

well i have flown to vegas numerous times but since my trip that im doing isn't until mid June(EDC)... i was wondering if there were better days to buy tickets. like ive heard 21 days before the trip to something about buying them on a WED morning... any help on best price to buy air line tickets is greatly appreciated

also would it be better to fly out from SFO or OAK

They do specials a lot. I've seen it for under $100 a round trip before. It's less crowded and super mellow to fly out of. Parking lot is smaller and cheaper.

I flew out of there to LAX not to long ago. If I have the choice I'll fly out of Monterey every time. I'm about the same distance form san jose to monterey.

I can't comment on if this is true, but I've gotten really good deals on some flights before. Both Southwest and AA send me emails regularly about certain flight specials. These usually occur around holidays. I flew to Chicago once for $90 with Southwest from San Francisco... a flight that usually costs me $200 lol
