Question about web servers
I want to host a web site, but don't want to deal with keeping a system, up time, backup, potential hacks, upgrades and all that crap. I want to out source it to someone and I just update my files. I don't need anything special. I am not going to have a forum or anything. Just my own domain name, a small database, front page extension, and and email server. It's going to be an informational site. Any suggestions? thanks in advance.

I use them for about 6 sites. They rock the house. Can't front on 64gb of bandwidth a month, 3000 email accounts, 2560mb space, and an assload of other stuff for $19.95/month. I use the Code Monster plan.
I had them for years with no problems.

I have few friends that have servers hosting sites as well. But I want something more reliable. I do not mean to say your friends are not. Just want to be able to btch about the service when sht hits the fan if you know what I mean.
I see the banner below also showing www.IMHosted.com... anyone have any experience with them?

They are very fast. I can stream video no problem and file transfers to them is lightening fast. They are based in LA I believe.
BTW. If you go with them, be sure to mention me so I can get a referal.
