Well I did the bleeding by myself, I hooked a tube up the the caliper and had it run into a small container thing I bought a Kragen for bleeding. Then I pumped the brakes so fluid went through the tube into the container, when there were no more bubbles in the tube left I tightened the bleeder screw. Also the fluid level never got low enough to where it was sucking air. I'll post a pic of the thing I used, gimme a min here..

I have one similar to that and a hand pump. Now I have speedbleeders and I use those. They are worth getting if you ask me.

This one was $6 vs. $35 for a hand pump, thats why I went with it.

Dayam! They wanted $35 for the hand pump? I would have gone with your choice in that situation as well, then. I swore I got mine for just over $20, though I did get it from Monument, a local chain.

Alright little update here. I bled all 4 brakes for the 2nd time today and pressed the pedal slower than I did before. The pedal felt real stiff b4 I started the car, but once it turned over it got mushy again... I'm at a loss now, maybe I should just take it to Carlsen.

^ Are they a vendor for speed bleeders? I called Vic Hubbard today and they only have them for up to 96 Imprezas.

Besides ordering online are there any local shops or vendors where I can pick up the speed bleeders?

scoobymods had to get people to pay for all of their good stuff on there. peaty said that they reached their goal and should turn of the PPV... (in his earlier post).

are you still bleeding this yourself? with that cheap setup?
