This light on my cluster just came on.. its the security alarm light that blinks.. its on even when im driving the car , i tried disconnecting the battery and it doesnt help.. Does anyone know how to get the light to stop flashing?? Thanks

 

hmm.... temporary fix... put black electrical tape over it until u figure out....

have you tried putting the car on valet mode?

 

the car is in OTS stage 1 map.. I dont get how it can just turn on out of nowhere... and **** i bent my rear lateral link.. DAMN IT

 

It's in valet mode. With your car off, open the door and hold the disarm button on the key fob for 2 seconds.

 

Open your driver door, and then PRESS and HOLD the UNLOCK button on your remote, until the blinking security light goes away. Let me know if it works.

it shouldn't be blinking WHILE he's driving, unless they changed something. On my 02 in Valet Mode it only blinks when the car is off

 

YAY ITS OFF!! thanks.. it was annoying flashing before my eyes.. ALSO have 1 more question.. I just recently bent my rear left frontside lateral link, which ones should i replace them with? The adjustable ones im not too sure how to adjust.. Will it affect my alignment ? Thanks.

 

The good thing about taking the alarm out of Valet Mode is that now your alarm is actually on.

not to hijack, but what does valet mode do?

 

disables the actual alarm so the valet doesn't accidentally set it off

 

mine does the same thing, my lights also don't flash when i lock or unlock the car. I will do it in the morning.
