i plan on buying a video camera off of ebay but im affraid they dont offer insurance for shipping. and is there a way to ensure that i get the right product working if i pay through paypal? as in if its broken and what not is thre a way i can stop the payment? im a newb at buyin items on line so all the help would be appreciated

 

if its from a private seller....

you get what you paid for.



if its from a ebay store... then check w/ them for return policies and/or warranties.

 

newegg.com has good cameras too, and it's a little safer. don't know about price though :/

 

If the product doesn't come to use and described or depicted on the listing (i.e. broken, different model...) you can open a claim against the seller.

 

how do i open a claim? because im scared i might get ripped off but then again.. it has pictures of the camera working. maybe i should wait till i get the product to see whats going on
