I had one about 5 years ago in my bugeye. I want to say I bought the real deal, and it cost me like 100$ at the time, it fit pretty well, and I didn't break it! I just never really liked the placement of the gauges with that set up, so I switched to an oem dash cluster, the one that goes where the clock is. I liked that way better.

I have one sitting in my room that I never used. Was going to put it on my 03 WRX when I bought some gauges, but never did buy any gauges. Now I'm just waiting to use it after I get a 2.5L shortblock on my car. So, depending on where you live we can meet up and test fit it in your car.

I've wondered this too... because everyone seems to carry the ebay crap and it looks/fits terrible.

I used an Autometer single pod on my 2002 WRX and it fit perfect.
Ran a 1 1/8" Boost Gauge in it for 2 years until I sold the car

I live right by Milpitas too. Shoot me a PM and we can figure out a place to meet up and do a test fit.
