congrats Pete!! it is a great thing to see one of these cars go so for so long this early in its life. It reassures me mine will be around for many years to come.

The shorter list is the parts that are still original;
The intercooler, the turbo, the steering wheel, the hood, the front doors (but not their windows), the rear seats, doors, and windows, the roof, the exhaust system, the driveshaft, the harness, the front sway bar.
Pretty much everything else has been replaced or rebuilt at some point (except the side skirts they just fell off...).
It only left me stranded once, from an O2 sensor shorting against the manifold on a Sunday afternoon up above Ft Bragg, but a call to LIC in the morning allowed me to limp it home.
I'm working up an anthology of the events and journeys that the car has been involved with.
But I have to thank Noah and Adam at LIC along with Mike Warfield from GST (and the crew's he's worked with this last 7 years) along with Art's Automotive in Berkeley and Albany Ford-Subaru as they have all done the hard work of keeping it running, depite my best efforts at beating it to death.

About the only joy I got under warranty was one set of brake pads.
What was "normal wear and tear" is kind of hard to assess since my treatment of the vehicle was not particularly normal, but I'd attribute most of the major work over the years to that.
The motor burned a valve at about 163,000 miles, prior to that it had almost all been routine service items- well apart from things like-
Accidents got me a rear bumper, two front bumpers, and front fender.
Break-in's cost me both front door windows.
The seats were replaced with Recaro's because the stock ones were crippling me.
the list could go on for a while....

Congrats Pete!
You were so eager to get your new toy that you jumped out my car while it was still rolling when we got to the dealership in South Lake Tahoe! You completed the thousand mile break-in the first weekend you owned it ... and from what I remember hearing you managed to redesign the undercarriage too!! A skid plate was high on your purchase priority list.
I know you've had many hours of pleasure driving your WRX all over the US and Canada - on as many dirt roads as you could possibly find. As Krinkov said - those were not easy miles much of the time!

Money Spent on Gas:
Miles: 250,000
MPG: 25
Gallons Used: 10,000
Conservative $/Gal: $2.50
Money Spent on Gas: $25,000+
Only WRX in North America in the 1/4 Million Mile Range.... Priceless.
