quality of creative kustoms?

Hey I'm thinking of getting some pieces painted from them, including repainting my skirts (they are flaking a little bit next to the rubber molding part).

To those that have experience with them, especially with painting the plastic sideskirts from 02/03 -- how has thier paint held up so far? any flaking etc near the rubber molding?

CK is owned by the friend of one of my friends. I havent heard anything but good things so far. Interested to hear what owners of of cars that have been serviced by them have to say.

They are the best, they painted my skirts two years ago and they are still perfect. They have held up better than the rest of the car. I just had my front and rear bumper covers painted by them and they look awesome. I wish the Subaru paint held up half as well as the skirts have.

I had a great experience with them. Very nice people, very thorough. The sideskirts they painted for my bugeye were done perfectly.

I had my skirts painted by CK way back when there was a group deal. Paint has held up very well. The only chipping is on the underside due to my dumbass placing the jack stand right under it.

Search for Creative Kustoms and you will see the great feedback they have.

CK is awesome, George does excellent work.

People come from all over the Bay to have stuff painted by them.

You might see me around there often...

Ted, I'm sure you could chime in here....

I had my side skirts painted during the summer time group buy. Met with George and told him everything up front about my concens on the rubber strip and undersides. He did exactly as I wanted and I like how he sanded the orange peel texture to a mirror smooth finish. I looked at his other projects and these guys seem detailed oriented. Just tell him exactly what you're after "up front".

LOL CHIME, CHIME, CHIME!

CKs quality is unparalleled by any other shop I have had experience with.....anywhere. George takes pride in his work and NEVER half asses anything.....if he paints something, and it doesnt turn out phenominal......then he will tweak it until its just right, if tweaking is not an option....he wont hesitate to repaint. You will NEVER hear George say "eh, its good enough", because "good enough" is NOT good enough for him.

FYI, CK only uses the highest quality materials when it comes to ANY body work.....whether its molding a lip to a bumper, or painting sideskirts.....CK only uses the highest quality stuff. I have plenty of stuff I will be taking to them for bodywork/painting (including a whole car, 1971 Datsun 510)
