odyss3y is right. There is an easy way not to get a ticket don't speed. I regularly speed on Hwy9 and if I get caught I'll fight the ticket but if I lose then I'm prepared to pay.

JUST SAY NO TO COPS, IS JUST PLAIN STUPID. If you car gets stolen or your house broken into I'm sure your attitude will be a little different.

yeah police have many uses. I wish that those uses made money for the department so they could spend much less time writing tickets and more time solving murders and serving the public..and what not.

But that's life with tax cuts and cost of living increases and creedy *** politicians and what not.

But look at it this way......would you rather get a ticket once in a while for braking the law or have no law and get a phone call one day because some idiot ran over your kid on a side street going 80mph.

Everyone hates a useless ticket...or one that you didn't do anything wrong...we all have gotten them. But I guess I'd rather pay $180 ticket every couple years than not have police.

If you go to traffic court in a busy court room they often will give traffic school amnesty (no countest) just to clear these useless cases out of the courtroom... you still pay though.
