Angry Purse-snatchers

They get the big fat

My mom got her purse stolen last night as she was crossing the street to our apartment. She's luckily safe and came to no harm, but it must have been scary. She's only 5' 1", and the two robbers were about 6'. One was the snatcher while the other got the getaway car...man...I just don't know what to say.

The police came and took down the report. Now we just have to see if they will be caught.

Both my mom and I didn't get much sleep last night. Things like this really

But my mom is fine, and that is what matters.

so sorry to here aya. good to hear your mom is doing fine. i hope they catch them...unfortunately, it would probably have to take more than one person's purse to have been stolen for the police to actually seek these people out.

them.

The ironic thing is that my mom got her purse stolen 10 years ago (1994) right in front of our police department. In that case, they did catch the perpetrator a few months later, which is pretty good considering the odds of doing so.

In both these instances, no weapons were used, which the police tells us is usually not the case. We have to be thankful for that.

That sucks. Trust no one, Pepper Spray everyone in the way. then Tazer them while their scream on the ground. Then shoot them in the legs with gun loaded with black talons, so they can no longer walk again.

Douce em with gasoline and set them on fire. Set an example so no one will ever mess with you again.

Sorry to hear that Aya.

Those types of people need to be tied to the bumper of a big truck, and dragged through the mud naked, then flogged until they dont know who they are anymore.....

Glad to hear your mom is aight....but still....keep an eye out for those a$$holes too....they may frequent that area....crooks usually ARE that stupid to return to the scene of the crime and attempt to repeat w/someone else. You never know, keep your eyes peeled.
