Sorry, that was all too much for me to take.

I agree with brucelee. My gf and I volunteer with the SPCA at adoption sites sometimes and we see a LOT of GREAT dogs that need homes. These dogs aren't just those who have bad temperaments but a lot of sweet dogs who are really nice and cute. There are already so many dogs out there that needs good homes for next to nothing (like 150 dollars to cover the vet bills and stuff), but you're bringing 8 more dogs into this world where you don't know if they are going to end up in a pound. Most GOOD breeders already have a waiting list and all dogs are spoken for, and those breeders can do what they love. You on the other hand seem like you just want money.

Some people want pure breeds. I am one of those people. There is nothing wrong with that. What is the point of freaking out? Everyone gets dogs for different reasons.

agreed. pound dogs are the best and if you want a purebreed then go to a pure breed rescue where people foster certain purebreeds so that they dont get killed at shelters.

3 Million dogs are put to death each year in the usa alone, and its because of people like the OP.

then buy from a real breeder or go to a rescue for that specific breed... There is a rescue for just about every breed. Backyard breeding is NOT cool and should be illegal.

PS:we got our 7 week old mini pinscher at the pound... he was there with with his two little sisters. Lots of pure breeds can be had at the pound very easily. its safer, cheaper, and you're saving a life.

I agree, and Rescue organizations are great. As long as a dog is being bred responsibly I'm fine with it. But if people really are just doing it for extra cash, thats no good.

Learning a lot from BoxerRumble and Brucelee... OP didn't say anything about the daddy dog at first so I thought his lab had accidentally gotten pregnant somewhere. And I was thinking 'wow, what a coincidence that the dad was also a lab and the puppies turned out pure breds '

Backyard breeding not cool Poor pound puppies..

Well its nice that we all have our opinions. You don't know me or my story, history or my reasons for breeding my dog to my brothers dog. I did not post them up for sale I posted them up to share an awesome event. Attacking me personally( through careful wording so it didn't seem personal) is not cool. Are all of them already sold....no. Are most of them already sold...yes. I can't sell them all if I don't know how many we are going to have. Pound puppies are great and if that is what you want, good for you. Pound puppies/dogs can also come with all kinds of problems that can be avoided by buying a dog from someone who knows what they are doing. Yes, this is the first litter I have done on my own, but it is not my first go around. I've been involved in this since I was little.
Dan, feel free to come and "slap" me if it makes you feel better. I know that wishing ill will and violence upon people and animals is always the right way to handle people that do not agree with your beliefs.
For anyone else that is still interested.....Pm me in a few weeks when they have some personality and we can set something up

thanks to all the people that understand that things are not black and white

And to the people that want to make me out to be some sort of monster

uh, you got that backwards... All pound dogs go through a rough test that examines their temperament and the dogs that have problems are not put up for adoption... They also come with all their shots, get fixed (fixed dogs have less problems than non-fixed dogs), unlike backyard breeding... Not only do you pay 10x(more) than you do at the pound, but you you get a dog that hasnt been tested for anything, doesnt have their shots, and you totally put your dog through absolute hell by not fixing her. Good work dude.

If folks are still interested it my pups.....you know how to contact me.
on that note I am done with the thread.
thanks
