Just offering up a friendly reminder to be especially careful when driving today. We haven't had rain in a very long time, so all that oil & muck on the roadways that's accumulated over the past several months will be make for some slick roads.

Im waiting for that rain. And actually it rained in my area about a month or so ago. But wasn't for a long period.

 

It rained a tiny bit but not much on my way home from work.

It was raining somewhat in Pleasanton, Sunol & Fremont earlier.

 

It was raining in San Jose (berryessa) awhile ago...

Made me nervous... I'm the genius who rode to work today but didn't bring a jacket...

No rain here at the moment (Santa Clara), but looks pretty ugly out.

 

Seems that the precip has been mainly in the areas along 680. The rain just let up in my 'hood in Vallejo, but the radar sweep I'm looking at shows that it's been coming down in Napa & Fairfield as well as most locations south to Sunol & Fremont.
