Thumbs up Proud of rex today; No problem with bikes(pic)

Here is my suby at work. Arrived to Infinion today. Parked among big trucks. No problem!

Saw a blue wrx wagon too - wheeling a single motorcycle trailer. A thumb up to you.

got me on that one with the turbodiesel comment.

but there was a thread here before about tow hitches and how there was no info from subaru for turbo models, some people believed it was due to hauling being bad for the turbos, but that makes sense, if turbodiesels can do it. subies for sure can too.

No paint. I think it looks like that because I took that pic early in the morning. WRX was slightly wet from morning dew.

Thanks. Not much. Just changed engine oil. Tires are almost new. Well, now, with chicken scratches - from heat. Few bolts for side mirror removal. Some black tapes to cover up the lights.

Tried not to use too much of turbo spool. Downshift to lower gears rather than pressing on gas pedal on high gear when I need to speed up.. But my gross weight is less than 750lb for the trailer + bike.

I hella wanna do this, I have this idea that eventually my friends with a trailer wont be going to the same track days as I'm going to. or they wont go out of the way to pick up my bike. But all the negative comments about turbo 5 speed WRX pulling a single bike has discouraged me. How often do you plan to do this?

i'm just thinking this through. is the "issue" that people think of related to stress on the chassis or on the motor. i think i read somewhere that even the wrx can do 2000lbs to tow. don't quote me on that. if we're thinking something small like 750lbs wouldn't the extra weight be like 4 190lb passengers or 3 additional adults besides the driver plus some junk in the trunk?

if the negative tow comments are from nabisco i would check WHO wrote it as many of them are like little babies who take in what they hear and then when it comes out again it sounds like gibberish.
