Update:

Unfortunately we have not met the prerequisite number of attendees (20) to have a car corral allocated for Subarus. My hope is that for future races we will be able to collectively get enough interest to secure a spot closer to the racetrack.

The 2015 calendar has not yet been posted but I anticipate that the United SportsCar Championship (formerly ALMS) will return to Laguna Seca based on prior races. Ideally we would start the process of informal signups to show track management of our intent, therefore once the calendar has been posted we can get a car corral allocated to us.

Let me know if you're interested for 2015 and I'll start a running thread up to the race.

I think USCC (ALMS) sounds fun. Historics probably the most interesting event, but too damn many people.

Unfortunately not. Back in June I wrote that there wasn't enough collective interest to meet the 20 minimum. We'll try again for the March/April race.

Either way thanks for responding and trying! I go every race.

I wonder if there will be special parking for SCCA NATIONAL RUN OFFS?

Very excited as this is now coming to Laguna in a couple months, 26 classes in 3 days or something.

Save your pennies. The 2015 Laguna Seca events calendar has been posted and the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship aka Continental Tire Grand Prix is scheduled for May 1-3, 2015.

Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix - Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

I'm finalizing a contract with event management to secure a Subaru car corral. It's much nicer to park near the Track next to turn 5 than subjecting your car to the un-even "free parking" terrain up on the back of the hill.

Stay tuned and I'll post an update 2015 thread.

Rufino O! I'd be down for this! I actually work some of these events and they chuckled when I asked to park in the coral (duh Mazda raceway). If you're organizing a group, I'm in! I should actually be working this event too!

Not sure how to respond to this? I'm organizing a "Subaru" car corral at Laguna Seca for those that wish to park closer to the race track.

It’s official. We now have a Subaru Car Corral at the upcoming Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix on May 1-3, 2015. The car corral can currently hold up to 20 cars and more if needed. I have also secured 20 two-day (Sat/Sun) tickets at a discounted price of $55 compared to the original $65.

Pricing is as follows:
Two day pass: $55 (reflects $10 discount)
Car Corral pass: $25

I’ll have the tickets starting at the beginning of the year and the Laguna Seca website will also be updated to show the Subaru Car Corral. Once I receive the tickets I’ll setup a paypal and I’ll send the tickets to you or you can meet me at the Sunday Philz meet.

Note: If you buy tix through the Laguna Seca website you won’t get the discount.

Boom!

I'll definitely be down for 2 tix and a corral pass!
