Ok so I just got a pair of prodrive uk300 that came with HIDs. I want to avoid splicing and found the thread on scoobymods here for JDM HIDs.

I can follow the same install info right?

if so, then all I would need to get would be this right? Or would it better to get this harness to use b/c I don't have a relay right now but otherwise nothing else besides the double sided tape to hold down the ballasts is required right?

should I be concerned that I have no relay right now? is one necessary?

I have HID's and don't have a relay. It helps mainly for the flash to pass ability. That plug adapter should work just fine. just cut off the 9006 end and splice them into the prodrive lights and plug them in. Make sure you wire your ballast correctly. You might blow a fuse.

 

Ok I managed to wire everything up but now when I try to use the high beams; everything shuts off.

Any ideas?
