There really isn't a big Aston Martin presence in ALMS or Le mans so I dunno what they are doing... More WRC stuff?

They OWN Aston Martin now... not just the racing team supplier, they actually bought it from Ford.

 

The news about Prodrive not being in the 08 season is somewhat old news. McLaren decided to change their focus and didn't want to supply customer cars.
And of course the legality issues of customer cars.

customer cars goes against the ideals of F1.

STR and Aguri should be disallowed from scoring any constructor points or else it's unfair on the other teams who spend millions designing and constructing their cars.
