Print shop hookups?

I wanted to make a poster, say 2 x 3 ft or 3 x 4 ft from a 3 megapixel file.

Kinkos wanted to charge me $60+ for a 2 x 3 ft poster... what a ripoff. That's for a matte finish, glossy would run $100+... they must be smoking crack.

Anyone in the Bay Area got hookups?

Thanks

photoaccess.com does 24x36 prints for $25 they do take a little while before you get it (oh yeah shipping is a few more bucks)

be prepared once you get your print - framers charge a lot. I recommend having the print laminated if you don't have it framed.

That website's price seem pretty good, 36 by 48 is $35. I don't know how good the quality would be though.

Anybody know of any business's that do even larger high-quality posters? (assuming that price doesn't matter) 5' by 6'

I've done several with the photoaccess site - glossies were very nice

for larger prints I have used http://www.Bannersontime.com . They do indoor and outdoor posters. The large one below is 40x60 and cost $125 - again beware since Aarone Brothers wanted $130 just to mount the darn thing
