Great event. Saw it on tape from the local Japanese videostore on Saturday.
Gomi vs. Sakurai was a match of epic proportions, and Gomi's victory said ALOT about the new generation of lighweight Japanese fighters.
I think Ogawa's MMA career is pretty much over since he'll always be considered 2nd best to Yoshida no matter what (Olympics, judo world and Japanese national championships, and now even MMA). If Ogawa's smart, he'll just stick to Hustle Prowrestling. But that would be a shame b/c Ogawa's not a bad fighter at all.
Kondo Yuki should've won IMHO.
Sakuraba vs. Minowa was a very entertaining match. It's like real, full-contact unscripted prowrestling. As cool as I think Minowa is though, he seriously needs to improve.
I think Crocop will be pooing blood for a month after that gutbusting punch Hunt gave him in the corner haha.
