Price my car
Price my car
I am thinking about getting rid of the suby wagon and move on to something new (M3!!!!!!!!!!)
Anyway, I was wondering if I could get a decent place for the car if I were to leave all my parts as is. I know I can get more from parting it out but don't want to deal with the trouble.
This is what I have. 2002 70k miles wagon Canadian addition (tighter seats and heated)
mods,
Tein Flex Coilovers
cusco front and rear strut bars
cusco rear adjustable sway bar
helix endlinks
front subaru 4 pots
dba slotted 4000 series rotors
rf1 enkei 18" with rt615
vf34
walbor pump
sti pink injectors
helix up and downpipe
borla hush w/ 3"
3port soleoid
spt intake
STI topmount
v1front lip
jdm hid projectors
authentic sti front grill
authentic sti hood scoop
painted side skirt
jdm wagon rear side spades
accessport w/ eqtune map
defi 3pod turbo, exhaust, fuel presurre guage
cf 3pod clock guage thingermigick
wagon mafia sticker
Don't tell me to part it out. I just want to know if it's worth while to just sell it.

Car Info: A crazy ass wagon ! Voltex and 18x9.5 +22 FTW !
Car sounds nice, the downside is you never get your money back for the mods. Private seller price is 13000 in excellent condition.... maybe 14000? Good luck with the sale !
I don't need more cowbell dammit!

Don't forget, if you want to sell that to someone in California, you will have to get a smog check which will require removal of a lot of the performance parts.
With that level of modifications, you are looking for a specialist buyer. This really restricts the number of people that would be interested.
Are your mods all carb legal? One issue a potential purchaser may have is that the car will need its first smog next year.

The market for a car like that is VERY small. There was a guy trying to sell a SICK bugeye with an sti swap in it. Very well built car. I don't even think he got $15k for it.
Part it out. Get as many stock bits on it as you can. Sell it for $12k and be happy.
I have an 04 and I'm looking that if I sold it now I might... MIGHT get 11k for it.

take the parts off and trade in the car. its a b!tch to sell a car or bike private party. you will get a lot of your time wasted by kids who are just trying to get a joy ride in a quick car
you might be able to get a motivated dealer to work with you on the trade in value so you don't lose too much compared to selling it by yourself
