Right now all you'd have to do is ask for it. They are hurting for EODs so bad in the Army right now they'd probably give you one hell of a bonus too.

LOL... -400 hah.. Army might take requests personally i wouldn't ever consider anything below Air Force they promised my buddy that he would never see the front line.. (call me a ***** but sniffing out bombs then playing with them isn't my ****s and giggles..)

Go talk to a recruiter* they will tell you anything you want to know..

HAHAHA Are you kidding me? Don't even talk to a recruit until you are for sure ready to sign the papers. Ask someone that's already in because they get ZERO benefit whether you get in or not.

No, the recruiter gets a benefit but a normal soldier in a line unit would see no benefit in you joining or not.

There are quite a few military members on I-club (Air Force, Army, prior Marine for sure that I know of) including myself that I'm sure could answer just about any questions you may have.

I don't think anyone on here is stupid or homicidal enough to throw a pipe bomb at anyone.
