Potrero hill SF: Car Broken into

Hi All,

My car was broken into last night in potrero hill at 17th and connecticut outside my apartment. Back passenger window busted out. They got a 150 piece craftsman tool set and my accessport. Such a bummer.

Just wanted to give anyone that lives in the area a heads up.

Thanks,

Brandon

Well that sucks. Are you going to report it to your insurance to try to get some cash back?

Generally things that are not part of your car or attached to it are not covered by your insurance. Radio in the dash, speakers = covered; CDs, clothes, laptop = not covered. Accessport could be considered attached, so may be covered.

Ah cool, thanks for the heads up. I'll have to wait the 7-10 days to get my case number and report.

F*ing thieves. Once, I had some asshats break into my garage and use MY TOOLS to steal the radio from my car. The tools cost more than the radio....

Damn that's hard to take in. I actually work around that area, and am sometimes hesitant to park when I see broken glass on the ground. Since it can get pretty quiet and isolated. Thanks for the heads up, and I'm glad it was not anything worse.

its totally sucks. I feel you tho. I have had 2 cars stolen and 2 broken into. IMO they will get what is coming to them in one way or another. thieves are the scum of the earth.
