I know, i'm bummed. Good news is that its still treatable and apparently its a common health issue with bully breeds. I knew this coming in to adopting Tank but I didnt think much of it. He has walked lightly on his hips before but it went away so I figured he just had a rough day at the park. Last night, he was sleeping on our bed and I noticed he got up weird and decided to take him in his morning. Worse case scenario is surgery but doctors are optimistic the medications should do wonders. Fingers crossed and looks like Tank will have to mellow out at dog parks. What fun is that?

Ya i know it runs in Rottys too.

Well that is some good news

How does he sit? Does he sit straight up with both back legs flat on the ground, or does he "sloutch" to the side putting all his weight on one leg?

He's off and on. He sits on his side sometimes but normally other times. Somedays he's alittle slow going up stairs, but bolts up the stairs other times.

thats really strange haha

since we got Kane, ive made a point to make him sit correctly everytime. If he gets lazy and starts to sloutch, ill tell him "bad sit" and he will sit up straight from there haha.

Look into the therapy in swimming pool for the dog, and get the stuff for their joints.
