Found out last week that the Pitbull I had with my ex, Kenya (ex kept her), got into a pretty bad fight with her friends Pitbull/American Bulldog mix. From what I've been told, her friends dog (they live together) went into heat early and we all know how *****y they get when they're in heat. Neither my ex nor her friend were home but they're roommate was but was too terrified to break them up. Not really sure what caused the fight (ex told me they we're bff's) but it lasted about 20mins.
Kenya had a severe puncture wound on her bottom jaw and her lip was cut open. Ive been told she's doing a lot better and home now. The other dog nearly died. She had 18 puncture wounds and cuts throughout her body, all kinds of tubes going in and out of her at the vet, her leg was really badly injured and was looking like it was going to be amputated, and Kenya ripped her teeth from her gums. Kenya has always had this mouth/teeth fascination with other dogs. Was also licking them lol The other dog is doing better now though. Her leg is recovering better and won't need to be amputated, but will need a lot of physical therapy.
I'm suppose to be getting pictures this week. My only form of communication is through Facebook messaging, cause the ***** is crazy lol I asked her how her friend feels about everything since her dog came out on the worse end and if there was a threat of Kenya being put down. Haven't heard back on that one though. Hoping they're able to work things out as this seems to be a freak of nature type fight not something planned or in the works as if the dogs never got along.

Thanks bro! Sucks cause I can't really see her either. I'm hoping they both recover in the best way possible too. Agree completely about it being part of the breed and owners need to be very knowledgeable about them. They play very rough, scares most people but its in their blood. Love them to death no matter what though.

There are so many awesome pups on here. We should do a meet up just for dog owners!
It's past the season, but this is one of the few decent pictures I have of my two together. Okay, and I absolutely adore the look on Piper's face.
Reindeer!Piper and SparklyBowTie!Sophie for your viewing pleasure:
Piper survived being run over by a car this past Monday night when I didn't pay enough attention and she got loose from the yard.
I thank the lucky stars for her small size in this instance as the car basically had her between the wheels as it passed over her; she came out of it physically unscathed except for a minor upper jaw fracture with a front incisor pulled. With the way she's bouncing around now though, no one would be able to tell she had a run in at all!

When she was little:
Now:
Can't give her stuffed toys either. We bought an "indestructable" toy and she had pulled it apart within 10 minutes We have to get her a new tug toy every few weeks.

It's really cool how only your dog's right ear stands up, is that how her ears are all the time, or was it just a coincidence with the pictures?

Point Isabel Regional Shoreline Park would make a great location with plenty of meeting points.

I said tug toy figuring if I just said "have to get her a new tug" it might come out wrong, but I guess it didn't matter

hahaha, it's nice having a weird funny dog.
my dog brushes up on people like it's a cat, and likes playing with yarn and thread.
really jealous though that my dog doesn't have the ability to raise his ears, they just flap like wings when he runs.
