I had a blast today at the Auto-X! Ive been to many Auto-X events, but only as a spectator and today was my first time driving. The best part was that My Friend Arnold (Silver EVO with white front lip #71) has been doing Auto-X and track events for over 20+ yrs so it was nice to get some pointers from him. I managed a best time of 50.992. anyways here are the pics My friend Matt took:

yea definitely get out there Al, you'll love it. I think the next one will be in January so plenty of time to ask for days off from work.

 

Nice pics, looks like you guys had a good time. next event is Jan 27th. There are 10 events next year. One every month except July and December.

February 23rd will be an auto-x school. Followed by an Auto-x on the 24th. Keep a look out for it as the school tends to fill up.

 

Hopefully i'll get someone to teach me how to drive my car.

I missed the shifter kart. I was over at the kart races yesterday looking into that, mostly to get my son a kart. But I was talking to a few and one of the guys mentioned he had run the autocross a few times and had fun, I told him there was one today and he said he might check it out. Maybe it was him?

man, that was hella fun today, Suzanne did excellent! She ran a 49, only her second time AutoX'ing!

If anyone wants any originals PM me. Also, I didn't do too much post-processing on these because of time, but my light sensor was all over the place today, so if you want the photos touched up (lightened, darkened, more/less contrast, etc) just lemme know.
