In other news... this showed up yesterday.

Some new lic plate bulbs to show off my sick nail polish flinging skills Bulbs were 20 years old just about. One was out and the other was on the way out, took the time to wash the housings and clean the gasket and cleaned the trunk behind the black trim piece, it was really dirty under there. I guess that what's happens when you drive over 336K miles!

yeah it took me almost 3.5 months to get and cost just about 4.5k. but she is mine. Oh its a Scar 17 .308 baby.

 

Lucked out at the REI Concord Used Gear Sale this morning.
ONLY $149 + tax. Orig Purchase Price was $399.

I never had a MTB of my own before. On those rare occasions over the years that I'd ride w/ friends and/or family, I always just borrowed someone's extra/"old" bike.

Last month, I did some mild searching online for NEW hybrid bikes or hardtail MTBs in the $400-500 range. This seems to fit the bill, eh?

 

Previous owner has German shepherds, my 10 pound chihuahua doesn't chew anything but food. This is almost as bad as having to pick up someone else's dog's poo.

 

Well it had good reviews. Let's see how it performs.
