Thanks, I'm still learning. I don't know what all that printing means.

Just saying; laws here suck. Better safe than sorry.

I was at Reeds the other day and some total moron walks into the store with a shotgun with no case, no lock (lock not required, but no case?) and what appeared to be a shell in it WTF? It ended up being a spent shell, but that's the kind of thing that can get you arrested or even shot.

Now that you can't get the .45 M&P, I am not sure if I am going to pick up another 9MM or a .40 before they drop off roster, or just go for something else. The CORE and Pro M&Ps already weren't CA approved

Pagid RS 4-2-1 for the Alcon Mono 4 pot front calipers. High Performance compound with low fading characteristics and high cold friction. Most comfortable medium friction compound and very easy on the rotors. It is OE on various Super Sports Cars such as Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus, or McLaren. Suitable for street and light track use.

I almost got arrested outside reeds. I had my shotgun in the case with a trigger lock. No lock on case. Going into my locked hard top tonneau cover.

Cop didnt care that the rifle was locked. The unlocked case is the big deal. Now I keep my AR unlocked in my locked voodoo tac bag.

Told me hes not trying to be an *******...but he follows that up with " but what I just saw could get you arrested right now."

******* lol.

Needed some more light in the garage under the car. This little 1000 watt floor light should do the trick hopefully.

Just because they are LEO doesn't mean they know every detail of every law (that's simply not possible), and sometimes they are flat wrong. I probably would have let him arrest me to see where it went and laugh when he got suspended for false arrest because he didn't know the law; or at least have had him go get the PC and SHOW me the law since I know what it says already. Nothing worse than someone trying to abuse their authority and being wrong about it.

I know you know this, but I'll add it: Handguns and long guns do not have the same restrictions. Transporting handguns is FAR more restricted. On your property is a different matter, but city law may still be an issue in that regard since it is considered "public" aka, in view of the public. Of course, there is a difference between transporting it and full on brandishing...

In my experience LEO officers are more often wrong about the specific details of the law than not.

negligence is only an excuse if you are a cop
