I wish I was actually planning on getting the MK II but got a pretty good deal on a MK I which could allow me to pull the trigger on a 300 2.8L (non-is) Then I could sell my 300 F4L IS and start the savings for another lens or body. I'm using the 5D MK II and 1D MK III.

Had I not gotten mk 5d MK3 I would be all over that.

But i did pick up

 

yeah the idle alone will save you a ton of e85. couple of guys i know switched and are getting way better mpg.
