yep. im pretty good with small motors. i buy, rebuild and sell.i picked up the last quad for 300. rebuilt the motor from the ground up,threw some power adders at it and sold it for 1500. it just so happens i needed a quad w/4wd and the scrambler is switched w/transfer case. the one i sold was about 10mph faster but not as much fun on trails.

Nope, no power in the mirror at all.

And i think im going to wire a switch to it to so i can turn it off/on without having to unplug it.

When I did this with my prior car ICB and I just had it run off my cigarette lighter with a fuse in between just in case. I Ran the cable behind the glove box up the A-pillar and then in the headliner. Made it so it turned on when the car started and I had zero issues.

Nice.

I wanna do the switch so i can turn it on/off regaurdless if the car is on/off too. Thats what i did with my a-pillar gauges.

If im close to a cop i can turn them off and bring a little less attention to myself

Don't bother. If it's mounted, on or off won't matter - you're getting a performance award.

Maybe I'm dense (it happens), but the V1 turns off if you just turn the volume wheel all the way to off, doesn't it? Mine both have a detent there that clicks it off.

Check under your dome light, too - there should be a mirror harness there even if you don't have a homelink/autodim/compass mirror.
