Ya, save your time/money on the TGV porting. One side has a LITTLE bit that can be taken out before the gasket is your restriction, the other side is negligible. You may want to take out the divider and the lip where the butterflies seat, but that is up to you. No big difference...except I have heard of idle issues (from a reliable source) when the divider was removed.

I like to hold the gasket up against the TGV, take a sharpie, and mark the areas that need to be taken out.

I used a die grinder with a cylindrical bit, but a tapered bit may work better. Get the toughest bit you can.

Or you could save yourself a lot of hassle & get the OEM parts.

2006(?) Legacy has a TGV delete..about $70 IIRC.

The only reason it says Banned is because he ended his silver vendor status. It was costing him too much and he wasn't making nearly enough money to actually make a profit in the end of each month.

He still does the services and posts up on Nasioc. PM him and I'll let him know you guys are trying to get a hold of him, he has been working a lot lately.

PM Unit91 (Ryan the Stevens Creek parts manager) and ask if there is an OEM tgv delete for your car. If there is one he will know, what's more he hooks up i-clubbers

All US spec cars have the TGVs. Paul might have had a customer with a set from Japan, which did have 'risers' on some cars. Might be orderable through SOA, but I can't seem to find the part number right now. I'll look into it a bit more for you.
