People MUST be held accountable for their actions, that's my stand, on pretty much everything in life.

I'm not going to say he deserved it, because honestly I'm not the higher power to be here, but he and his friends made their choice.

I only wish ill will to those who commit horrid acts; Karma will catch them one day.

ya this kinda thing has happened in my town a few times (not exact sercomstances(sp?) ) but similar teen accidents. I myself am only a 17 year old high school student and thank my parents and friends for keeping me responsible with my wrx. At ~270whp its easy to go fast and yes the rush is amazing but theres always that thing in the back of your mind keeping your a** in check and keeping it at a safe level. I've already been upside down in my friends 02 wrx so ive already learned the lesson to play it safe.

I feel sorry for his friends and family, but this part just pisses me off...

You hear this statement quite often, but seldom is it true. The price was heavy in this case.

condolescenes out to his family, but like Gagan said everyone is accountable for their actions...

everyone makes mistakes in life...sometimes mistakes actually make you a better driver, sometimes they dont...sometimes you need to have your baby car totalled with you walking away from it with minor injuries or sometimes major injuries for you to learn....no one should pay the ultimate price for a mistake by losing your life, but if you dont heed the advice of others that have made close to the ultimate mistake, then you are stupid and must suffer what you reap....

if you are going to be dumb and drive stupid, do it by yourself...dont have someone else in the car with you and go be dumb in a desolate area so you dont kill or hurt the people around you except for yourself....

he had the right idea of driving his car on a runway, too bad he had 3 others in the car with him...

also i read one guy on the M5 boards that said he was 18 but some manager and bought himself a M5....its not going to prevent having some fun or making a mistake, but sometimes when you work your *** off to buy the car you dream of or desire, rather then being given it by mommy and daddy (this by no means that everyone whom have been given their cars are like this though!), you have that voice in the back of your head when you are bout to do something dumb, like "damn i freakin just worked my *** of for this, do i want to possibly ruin it for a split second of fun"

he post all those cars and claim that its "HIS", its just a show off. in the news article states that its his father's 2008 M5.

first time he crash caused his life that too bad that god didnt give him another chance.

his parents killed him by giving him a brand new M5. people already talk shi* to kids who gets a new evo, sti, for the first car but M5. lol

i had a pretty big accident when i was 17. and thank god that i was okay. i was going too fast on a turn, and another car cut in to my lane and i couldn't control the car so end up crashed. i do blame the guy who cut me off, but the main reason is still because i was going too fast. so after that i always drive slow and caution. because it gave me a second chance.

Its sad because he died, but its suicide. so he choose to do that.

I feel for the 4 passengers and their families. I've personally been in two car accidents sitting shotgun in one of my friend's car. Till this day, I don't trust his driving at all. Moral of this story for me is.. be wary of the people you let take responsibility of your life. Sad.

Man, that's rough. Sure the kid was being an idiot but thats what kids do. I know I did some dumb **** when I was younger but damn, the poor family. I have always seen myself as pretty responsible. I hardly ever run my car hard and I damn sure don't do it with other people in the car. My brother did have a lead foot though. He got an S2000 really young and rolled that thing 5 times, got ejected and some how walked away. Hopefully people will think about this before they stand on the throttle. At least he had the courtesy to do it off public roads.
