Polk Audio 6.5 Speakers for Cheap $30.00

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000P0PF9G?tag=slickdeals

Thought I would share this with you guys. Cheap with free shipping. By the way are these better than the upgraded oem speakers that you can get from the dealer?

I would say that these are better. But my opinion might be a little bias because I love Polk.

EDIT: Just looked at the link, Those are db series Polks! db's are friggen kickass! I am getting two pairs!

will this fit into the stock speaker hole? because i just found a DIY guide that said the hole is 6 inches wide, but the on the description for the polk speaker the diameter is 6.5 inches?

They should fit. The stock speakers are 6.5 IIRC.

I know they fit in the rear, but the fronts may be too shallow and may need a spacer. We'll see.

I got the polk momo's in my car, I love em, I went through three sets of alpine speakers, they kept blowing out, but the Polk's are good to go!

I don't think our Impreza's can use the 6.5" in the rear, only in the front.

polk momo's are amazing speakers... i have them as well, and yes you will need a spacer for the doors... the thing that i ran into was that the rubber around the speaker would be pressed against the door panel, and you would here it slap against the door at high volumes.. but them i swapped my interior out with a 07 wrx and solved the problem... the speaker grill design on the door was round other than that oval like in my 04 door panels..

well if you guys wanna get creative you cn install the two 6.5's in the rear deck, looks very nice... i have my 5 1/4 back there.... that way you dont have to worry about spacers... and accousticaly it sound hell of a lot better than on the rear doors...

Haha, I just bought these two weeks ago for $35 shipped. Oh well. What's $5 anyway? Anyone want to have a Polk Audio speaker install day?
