mostly they just wanted to know what they were looking at. He had a couple of pictures of a honda with all sorts of junk under the hood, and a 2.5 RS with the 2.0 turbo in it. To them it doesn't make sense when they see it, the just figure it must bee illegal. So at least they are trying to make an effort and learn about it instead of just pulling over every car with exhaust and wheels.
Effort to learn? I thought they had some classes about that stuff, and you should have said there were limited number of 2.0T's LEGAL edition so those cars don't get impounded. =P

oh yeah. and you should have told him that the following makes a car illegal:
spinning rims, outrageous graphics, body kits painted different colors than the rest of the car, and any honda that is not stock.
