Pwned the Green version on the game boy advance. Wireless battling ftw.

 

Just beat the elite 4 + champ on pearl, would have done it sometime last week if my friend told me it leaked >_<, so I only got it 2 days early .

 

How much different are the new versions (Pearl/Diamond) compared to the old versions? I heard there's a lot more strategy involved.

Hell if I know, I havent played any since like yellow.

But I just beat the elite 4 with only 1 58, 1 53, and 1 52 lvl pokemon lol.

someone just gave me this thing today that emulates the gameboy color on a mac
so i have the red one, kinda fun, havent played in say... maybe 10 years or so

 

well theres actual 3D graphics now, battle system is the same, bunch of new pocket monsters, but basic gameplay is still the same so far. beat the gyms, elite 4, then catch em all. oh, and the battle options are on the touch screen now, and then implemented the touch screen with all the menus and storage.

that and theres WiFi connection now, so you can trade with people on the other side of the country

I haven't played since Silver. I was reading on of those strategy guides and they have some pretty crazy pokemon.
