...made me laugh because I actually watched this movie on Netflicks. So amazingly god awful.

Gorilla. It's pretty big for one lion to lock down and its opposable thumbs give it more counter abilities than a water buffalo. Gorillas have some pretty nasty teeth of their own.

 

Well I do smoke and I think they both would lose! (Or win if you are an optimist)



Lion attacks and severs the gorilla's jugular, Gorilla in last seconds of life snaps lions neck. This is would absolutely happen 99.99% of the time for sure

 

I think they would stay the **** away from each other!

But..... in your scenario and they HAD to fight (a la japanese bug fighting) I think whoever struck first would win. If the lion managed to get behind the Gorilla and clamped its jaws to its neck, it would win.... but if the Gorilla got its arms around the lions leg it would probably rip its limbs off.

I just did a quick search and according to wiki, Lions can exceed 550lbs and Gorillas can get up to 510lbs.... so it would be a pretty good match.

If I had to put money on it, I would go Lion.

My two cents say that the lion is going to have to much trouble getting into the gorillas neck. it would have to attack from behind to even have that chance. The strong arms and legs of a gorilla can push the lion off from a front attack. I think the gorillas grip is going to be the winning factor here. It can hold the lion down and strangle him or get into the lions neck with it's teeth.
I say the gorilla goes home with some new scares but the lion never goes home.

And I don't smoke! We came up with this at work and I ended up asking moreda5 what he thought.

 

Lion, purely on instinct and mentality. The lion is a predator where the gorilla is not. They both have crazy sharp teeth but the lion's are used for killing.

 

I must be a masochist, I am watching that horrible Shark vs. Octopus movie.

How the hell does a submarine outrun a giant shark that can go 500 knots?

 

does the gorilla have a barrel and when he throws it, does a smaller monkey come out to help him? does he throw bananas too?

does the lion transform with his fellow lions into a bigger mecha lion robot called voltron?
