Greg, get well soon. Hoping for a speedy recovery. BAIC is here for you, bud.

I don't normally check I club as much as I used to. As what Gagan said, thanks Holland for posting up on FB.

Get well soon! I've always appreciated the great help Greg and his wife provided at many of the past BAM/Mt. Hammy meets. I still remembered the two Foresters being utilized as the pizza delivery vehicles for one of the years.

Wow, thank you all so much! I don't check in here very often, but I'm blown away by the outpouring of support by the entire Subaru community. Thanks to Stan for reposting here, and thanks to all of you for your generosity and well wishes. Gregory is progressing well but still hospitalized in San Francisco. We're hoping for a release date sometime next week, but the final decision of course is with the docs. He's lucky in that he received help very quickly and the worst outcome was averted. In the past week he has regained most of his symmetry and motor skills in his left side, he's up and walking around much of the time, and getting a bit restless. He will need some ongoing rehab for the next 6 months, but so far everyone at the hospital is amazed by his recovery so far. I'll try and keep you guys updated on his condition whenever I can.

Walking! holy ish! you guys must have caught that way early That brings serious joy to me to hear. i think it's 90% of recovery is within the first few weeks so being able to walk is HUGE!

Pleiad7, if you guys need any help do not hesitate to ask. I'm near sac but can help move heavy stuff around (if rearranging the house is needed) or building shallow ramps for laying over stairs, etc. My grandfather had a stroke and I did all that stuff since he needed a walker after that. So please don't hesitate to ask

I own the subedup Forester... so I guess he's a co-owner since California is a community property state.

Thanks so much for the offer. He actually walks totally normal now, and thankfully we don't have stairs at home, so there shouldn't be a major problem. He was truly fortunate that we did catch it so early (I pretty much recognized his symptoms right away and didn't waste any time getting help). Sorry to hear about your grandfather... I hope he's doing ok!
