maybe his buddies were throwing a party at the hotel room and didnt want to let some people in. people can be very stupid sometimes, and decide to pull a gun out and pop someone because theyre trying to get into a party they were never invited to. i was at my friends party in davis this weekend, and a bunch of guys from fairfield tried crashing the party, werent let in, and ended up fighting a couple guys outside...****ing idiots...

it sucks that things like this happen and my prayers are out for you buddy and his bro

but things like this happen bacause everyone thinks they are invincable and talk shi* or make comments about others and when anger and alcohol or other substances get involved someone usually gets hurt.

my advise is keep your comments to yourself and if you feel challenged in a situation just walk away your more of a man to just walk away then to argue and get shot. or killed in any way.
alot of people are angry at the world and they drive around just looking for a reason to kill someone, remeber that

Wow, shot 6 times and lived. Someone up above was definately watching over him. Either that or the shooter was a horrible shot. Hope he recovers quickly.

"The incident happened about 3 a.m. Sunday, when four men and two women returned to their room at the Good Nite Inn on Cushing Parkway. While inside the room, one woman called some other friends to come over and hang out with them.

"It didn't appear to be a setup or anything," Mazzone said.

When the new partygoers arrived, one man in the original group went to his vehicle and got his gun for protection, Mazzone said. Minutes later, a melee ensued and at least three people fired their guns.

"One guy came down the stairs and began firing into the crowd, hitting five people," the sergeant said.

No one had been arrested as of Monday afternoon, but the investigation was continuing, Mazzone said.

By the time the shooting stopped, the second group of partygoers — three of whom had been shot — fled in a vehicle and went to Newark. They went to the Woodfin Suites Hotel on Cedar Boulevard, where a clerk and securityguards called Newark police.

Meanwhile, two other gunshot victims were rushed by friends to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for their wounds. Emergency personnel then called police. It remained unclear Monday what happened to the sixth man.

All the people involved in the shooting are in their late teens to mid-20s and live in East Palo Alto or Oakland, Mazzone said. "

"Police said the victims -- who all remain hospitalized -- are not being cooperative."
