Right now my car is at TGIF body shop in Fremont. They said I can come over there on Monday to part stuff out on my car / revert stuff back to stock, they open at 8am. Mostly I'll have no problem doing it myself but, since I'm a noob to some stuff, I might need help with things like:

-Removal of SS brake lines

-Removal of brake pads

-Removal of skid plate (I don't have open ended socket wrenches)

-Switching wheels, I only have OEM jack / does the stock wheel wrench even work well to get lug nuts off??

-Removal of cd deck / speakers (need to pull out smashed door panel ect..)

-Switching from UD crank pulley to stock pulley



I would GREATLY appreciate if anyone would be willing to go over there with me on Monday. If you have a good selection of tools you can bring please do that. I would be glad to buy lunch / snacks for while working on the car. I'll bring as many tools as I can but I don't think I have enough. I'd like to get everything done on Monday so I can have a parting out sale at the next UCKK. Thanks in advance.

i would absolutely love to come help out. i definitely feel your pain. you're lucky (or smart as the case may be) that your car was taken to a body shop. mine was taken to a tow yard and the guy that let me into my car was ADAMANT that i not take anything that wasn't "bolted in". i was lucky the guy was dumb enough to fall for the "LOOK, it's the goodyear blimp!!" trick, and i busted a crescent wrench out of my sleave and snagged the shift ****. but that's all i got unfortunately.

i would help but i'm gonna be down in hermosa beach looking for a house.

With decent traffic it would probably take about 20-25min to drive from Oakland to Fremont (depending on how fast you drive too... lol). I can give you the directions to the shop if you need.

I just got your message. You guys will probably be done by the time I get out of school at 12:00. If not I can be there since it's right down the road from me.

Although I don't have any tools besides a leatherman.

yeah. if needed, i can bring a jack, 4 jack stands, sockets, open ended, screw drivers or a drill w/screw driver bits.
