Please help me find a new home for my cat
Well here's the deal, I am moving to England on the 10th and there was no way that I can take my cat with me, as painful as it is. I was hoping that I would be able to place her with a friend but unfortunately nothing worked out.
She is a four year old black and white mix. I originally adopted her from the humane society when she was eight months old. I swear she must be part maine coon because of her friendliness and hair growth.
As far as her temperment, she is great with people. As I stated before she loves meeting new people, but she usually gets bored with them because they don't pet her correctly, lol. She is incredibly playful, and will stop doing just about anything if you pick up one of her toys. She is also quite talkative, but knows not to meow to wake me up unless her food dish is empty.
She is an indoor only cat.
I am not charging any money, I just want to make sure that she is going to a good home. This is by far the hardest part of my move.
I am posting here because I think I remember that there was a fair amount of cat people.

-Thanks,
James

Very cute and quite tempting, sadly my cat is free to roam in and out so my house would be unsuitable. Also, you might want to state where you're located.

Honestly though I don't mind driving her to a new home around the bay, assuming that the person passes my rigorous standards.

Honestly it's probably not the best situation for her. I took her over to my GF's house to meet her cat, but then her cat started hissing at Porsche. This was her only expirience with another cat, I really don't know how she would get along with other cats. I think she would probably have a heart attack if she saw a dog in real life. I appreciate the offer though. Do you have any friends who are cat people?

I have my maine coon with my pit... they took like 2-3 days to warm up to each other. It depends more on the tolerance and behavior of the dog than the cat. Just don't put them together or let them see each other for the first day, let them get used to the smells first.
I would say your cat is pretty close to a full Maine Coon... I have a grey tabby and they look pretty identical in the face and body. My guy is about 30 pounds though.
