Playing poker in a casino

I'm off to Reno this weekend for my 21st b-day and im looking to sit down at some texas hold'em tables. I've nver played poker in a casino before and im looking for advice, or anything to help me out.
I play a lot of home games, but for small buy-ins of 5 - 40 dollars, but always tournament play, not cash games. I play online as well, but i dont' find that nearly as fun as playing in person.
I've heard its a ***** to play cash games at a casino because people who hvae a huge bank roll can chase their Ace down to the river without worrying about calling your 25 dollar bet. I also know to sit down at a table with at least the average amount of cash if not more that the rest of the table has to not get bullied around. What are some other tips on playing in the casino? Anything will help

thanks

dont play limit, every tourist and new player will call with anything and somehow river you. the NEWBIES to casinos play LIMIT. don't sit down.

Play at a place that doesn't charge an hourly rate!

Play really tight, if you are playing low enough limits these people will pay you off. I've found that people at the low no-limit tables in casinos play like ****.

Play tight, sit down with a nice stack so u can sit through the blinds for a while, and just fold until you get a great hand, and youll be get paid off!

I've never played at a casino But i do love poker and read about it all the time. yes, play tight, play super tight but not don't play like a rock. Play tight aggressive so you get paid off good. Don't raise to semi bluff. Don't raise pre flop to bluff out and try to thin the field it almost never works. Just be patient. Remember, weak means strong, strong means weak. Watch for hand shaking too. Don't bluff as much obviously since they will call with crap. Once you hit, you'll get paid off gooooot. good luck and have fun! I can't wait to play in a casino / move up my limit.

400

and im gonna buy into some 40 dollar tourney's that a lot of the casino's have, even as low as 17 dollar to join up and get 1200 in chips. so that'll be fun.

and the golden nugget has 1/2 no limit, so i might swing over that way for while

PLAY SLOW! As in ONLY the really good hands. That's all I can say. Happy Birthday, at some point you should sit at some cheap slots and drink as much as you can for free since you're 21 now. Don't waste the whole trip playing a game you can play in casinos around here...
