Plane crash on 680
Just saw on the news that a plane crashed on the 280. I hope they are ok.
Stay away from the 680 tonight as it looks like it will be backed up for a long time.

A small plane crashed Tuesday evening on the southbound lanes of Interstate 680 near Willow Pass Road in Pleasant Hill.
The freeway was closed in both directions at 5pm Tuesday.
Witnesses say at one point the plane was fully engulfed in flames.
The plane was reportedly trying to make an emergency landing at Concord's Buchanan Field, but apparently slammed into a Dodge Caravan instead. There was no word on how many people were aboard the plane or in the van.

Yeah seriously hope everyone is ok for both passengers on the plane and commuters on 680. I saw this on the news too and can't believe the pilot had to glide it onto the freeway due to failure. Crazy but really hope all of this gets sorted out without total devastation.
