Places to eat in san francisco, need suggestions!!
Hey thanks for looking, I was hoping to hear some suggestions for fine dining in the city. I'm from the north bay and know little to nothing about quality restaurants in San Fran. I'm looking to treat my girlfriend to a really nice dinner ect for her birthday, so price really isn't important. would prefer suggestions that offer vegetarian cuisine as Well.
thanks for your time!

If you don't mind spending the money try to get a reservation at Gary Danko in the Fisherman Wharf area. I've been there twice and it has been amazing each time. Its better than French Laundry in my opinion. Also, if you go you have to get the wine pairing with each course if you even remotely like wine.
Nobody likes the tuna here

Kabuto is a Michellin star rated Japanese place on Geary, really good. Kappa I'm Japan town is really good too, but it's over a 100 per person. La Ciccia in the Richmond district has to be the best Italian/Sicillian place I've ever tried.
No vegetarian places that I know off

If you want Chinese vegetarian food, you can try Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant. There's 3 of them in the city. One in Chinatown, one in Sunset, and another on Geary Blvd. Both the Sunset and Geary places are pretty small. If you don't want to wait, Chinatown's probably the best bet.
Most dishes are around $10 each. The decor isn't super fancy looking or anything, so if you're looking to impress the GF, not sure if it will suit you, but generally, the place is pretty clean. Food's pretty good for a Chinese vegetarian cuisine. My mom's vegetarian so we eat there often. Check yelp for pics and reviews.

NOPA for good American food.
R&G lounge for Michelin-star rated Chinese-- the salt and pepper crab is the big draw.
Turtle Tower for pho.
Baker and Banker in the Western Addition for American.
Hillstone for steak in a low-key, business dinner sort of restaurant. Live jazz many nights of the week.
****. Vegetarian? Bleh.
Millennium is fine dining w/ a completely vegan menu.
Hotel rooms are whatever to me, unless you can afford the megabucks top floor suites, they all look pretty similar. Just stay at somewhere with a good name like the Ritz, W, Fairmont, etc.
