What was the amount paid?

I've had 4 tickets total in my 16 years of driving. Can some explain the "Speed Approx. 102" and "PF Max Spd. 72" please.

Is one radar and the other paced?

well actually i think i was slowing down when he spotted me cuz i was passing slower traffic... so i'm kinda thankful that it was just 102...

the radar unit is list there but im not certain what the "PF" portion refers to...

oh & the price for that slight indiscretion came to just under $700... needless to say traffic school was inapplicable to this particular offensive...

not bad, I think the fine for 100+ can go to $2500 and jail time is possible if its your second/third offense.

30 license day suspension?

edit: was it in cali?

I got one for doing 100 on the I5, where the speed limit was 70.

It was in Los Banos, and I had to drive there to be @ court at 9:00 AM.

I was the only guy in the courtroom with a suit on. When asked why I was speeding, I told the judge remorsefully that I was just being plain stupid and pleaded guilty and also explained how I drove 2 hours to get there from SF.

I got a fine of $150, which ended up being like $240 after court taxes, etc. AND was allowed to take traffic school. Neat, huh?

"speed approx" = the speed mr. Po Po busted you at.

"P.F./max spd" = Preferred Max Speed.......I think.
