so, i cant play it right now.i have Colin McRae 2 thru 2005. not to mention, RalliSport Challenge 2 (xbox) where i've done decently well. and some super lame ones as well... but, i just had to try them.

we'll have to schedule a day, and you can head over and play the games.
i did do a minor mod one of my PS2s.
it allows me to play with the tray open. its swanky!

in all honestly, i have no intention of changing the way my RS looks. i did debate some clear corner lenses, but that would only attract the unwanted attention of cops. and, once i get comfortable in my RS, i've no doubt that i'll be back driving almost as fast as i did in my 86 MR2. i've already had at least 2 cops follow me, and from all outward appearances, my car is stock. the only non-stock part being the after market header, which i'd sooner just put back to stock.
and, the idea of getting another set of wheels, was purely to have a set for summer and a set for winter driving.
i have no qualms with the 'goldies' but i have no idea what the v7 wheels look like. and, more importantly, the size, tire selection and weight of them is of more consequence.
in a nutshell, i am about function (and keeping cops AWAY) than form.
i dont understand the point of 17's or larger on subaru's like ours. and, i'm sure many will throw up the flag of 'its for performance' but unless you have HUGE brakes to take advantage of all that space, then its almost entirely just for looks. F1 cars run 18's, but they also have MASSIVELY tall sidewall tires, not rubberbands.
and dont get me started on brakes.
i'm certain that many people would not agree with my views.

ive always said no to 17's...my 16x7s are perfect, 17's are like an extra few lbs. i run 225s that work great. and 18's? hahahahahaaaa
Rota Slipstream comes in a 16x8, i wish they had 7 width, its only a lb more, but i cant fit 245s since my suspension has a ton of stroke and it just wouldnt work.
ive almost thought about using 15's...i used 15 steelies at a rallyX and really liked the look.
coming from the miata world, or any low powered car world, its hard not to be a weight weenie.
but yeah the v7 wheels ARE REALLY HOT! very clean looking not attention grabbing, besides the gold haha

i'm already in the process of upgrading the rear brakes to the 91-94 legacy gt vented brakes. i am also going to have the clutch replaced with a Spec Stage 2. then i'll be looking at some ss brake lines. i have a wrx rear sway bar on the way already. i am debating putting on an Injen CAI.
when you see my car, it will not scream out 'pull me over! i am modded and illegal!' but, once my comfort with my RS grows, that is where you will see the performance of it.

a buddy of mine has a brand new one, and i get a nice price discount. and, it DOES have the Carb Legal sticker!
he also has a Fidanza lightweight flywheel for the RS that he has for sale. i am not interested in it. so, if someone else is, let me know, and i'll pass along the price he is asking for it (it IS new as well).
