Perhaps the end of my motor? or close enough.
well with all the rain i decided that mud running was the only option friday night... had some fun with that.
(http://69.12.132.100/videos/wrxvid.3gp think you need quicktime)
and well now i had this fluttering like ticking sound coming from the engine bay at higher rpm's that matches the speed of the sound/rpm's
im thinking maybe blown head gasket or piston ring.. but i have NO clue.
any thoughts guys? i know it can't be easy with out hearing it but just curious. sounds like its coming from the intake side (and no nothing is caught in the axle or wheel or anything)
if something is wrong, and its gonna cause over 1,000 bucks to get fixed.. its just gonna turn into my buying an ej207 motor. (i wanna keep it 2.0 for the rally guy in me)

Good god man, I feel sorry for your car. You just can't keep it in once piece can ya :P
P.S. wrc homologated or not, nothing makes up for displacement. Extra .5 liters ftw.

Pour sugar in the gas tank...the ponies in your engine like sugar.
On the other hand, I went 10,000+ between oil changes on my synthetic. Just make sure you always check it and top it off. These cars can burn it.
