Strapping it to the strut bar works great, and bpang1's velcro idea also works great. I have used the velcro to hold 3 different subs in the trunk of my Celica, and it's never given me a problem. I used the 1" wide velcro that comes in rolls. I use this for tiieing server wiring together.
I plan to drill/tap the floor and bolt my box to the floor through the bottom of the box, and then install the woofer. I need to check with my friendly local NASA official to see if I can run on the track with it like that first though.
A friend of mine got some eye hooks and a ratcheting strap from Home Depot. He screwed the eye bolts into the box, and put the strap through them and then around the bars behind the back seat (in a corolla, forgot what my trunk looks like). This held great, and this guy drives like a freak.

Box will be bigger and will fit more snuggly in your trunk.
